The hasdai partnership

The hasdai partnership of European and U.S. institutions is managed by Data Futures GmbH and governed by a Memorandum of Understanding with CERN. hasdai has extended CERN's Invenio repository technology for the social sciences and humanities (SSH), and it operates a network of InvenioRDM corpus repositories on behalf of its partners.

Unlike multi-disciplinary repositories, corpus repositories support specific research activities, and provide capacity for large volumes of research data as well as tailored discovery tools. However, they employ the same InvenioRDM software platform and can be deployed in multiple disciplines from the life and physical sciences to engineering and SSH. This means that corpus repositories benefit fully from the support and ongoing development and central investment of the international InvenioRDM Consortium, which is led by CERN.

Data Futures GmbH is a not-for-profit company based in Leipzig which works on infrastructure for research data and on redelivery of digital corpora which have become vulnerable because of technology obsolescence. Data Futures is a member of the InvenioRDM Consortium, which also provides the technology base for Zenodo, the global catch-all repository for research data, supported by CERN on behalf of the European Commission's OpenAIRE program program.
